Profanity

Weekend chats with Kamae are sometimes mundane, sometimes profound. This time, it's profane.

Kamae Iniguez:
buti nalang hsm is not a disney classic
hahahaha

Kevin Bautista:
who knows, maybe it will, maybe it won't. :P

Kamae Iniguez:
right now, it isn't
:P
it's just a hit
(i overuse :P)

Kevin Bautista:
hm...
i have to agree with you.
with the hsm opinion
(and the :P opinion)
:P

Kamae Iniguez:
mas may potential pa ang enchanted though it's relatively new

Kevin Bautista:
hmm...
true, but i don't think that any of those will be classics

Kamae Iniguez:
because they're not cartoons? hahaha

Kevin Bautista:
no
because to a degree, they are not profound.

Kamae Iniguez:
*nods*

Kevin Bautista:
hmm...
so, there.
but i did enjoy enchanted and hsm (from original to senior year)
i just don't think that they are profound.
we need profanity in disney films and all other films for that matter!

Kamae Iniguez:
profound -->> involves me crying in the ending
profanity? di ba bad words at explicit content yun? =))

Kevin Bautista:
haha

Kamae Iniguez:
LOL

Kevin Bautista:
:P
i take profanity as something deep
not bad words
and explicit content
we need profanity!
we need to cry at the end!
haha

Kamae Iniguez:
the dictionary says: profanity |prəˈfanətē; prō-|
noun ( pl. -ties)
blasphemous or obscene language : an outburst of profanity.
• a swear word; an oath.
• irreligious or irreverent behavior.

Kevin Bautista:
this reminds me, i will direct a disney film one day.

Kamae Iniguez:
hahaha. i'll count on that. LOL

Kevin Bautista:
oh, wait
ang noun form pala
ng profound
ay profoundness
not profanity

Kamae Iniguez:
LOL

Kevin Bautista:
my bad :P

Kamae Iniguez:
feel na feel mo pa naman pagsabi dun
:))
"we need profanity in disney films and all other films for that matter!"

Kevin Bautista:
super LOL!

Kamae Iniguez:
(oh no. we're going to pollute the minds of kids!)

Kevin Bautista:
it's a good thing that you corrected me
i might one day
go to disney
and keep saying,
"we need profanity in disney films and all other films for that matter!"

Kamae Iniguez:
i am literally LOLing

Kevin Bautista:
and the executives would be like O_O
i think that Roy Disney will personally hit me.

Trees, We's and the Number 3's

It is astonishing just how much of what we are can be tied to the beds we wake up in the morning, and it is astonishing how fragile that can be.

An Alice

(A song inspired by a story of a friend)
Tweedledee, Tweedledum
Tweedledee La la la la la...

I was an Alice in your Wonderland
Ever so innocent, I couldn’t understand
Why all these rabbits, were running oh so fast
So tried to catch one, so I could ask

Then I was falling,
Then I was calling,
And all that could hear me, was a door

Who wouldn’t let me in at first
Then all my tears they burst and burst
And he wasn’t hesitant anymore

I was an Alice in your Wonderland
Caught up with you
And your butterflies
What else could be more grand?

You made me feel
Bigger than what I could feel
Until…

We came to the part, Where you danced and danced with the Queen of Hearts

And then I was falling,
But no one was calling,
‘Cause this wasn’t just a dream

Now I’m stuck with the Cheshire Cat
And mad men with their own funny hats
On which way to go
Oh, I don’t know

‘Cause

I’m just an Alice in your Wonderland
Ever so innocent, I couldn’t understand

AFK Really Means "Away From Kevin"

The weeks started on a very uplifting note with 17 Again and a praise and worship night at an Alabang church. Then came the school's Leadership Training Seminar, which was a fun learning experience - but was just hard to get that retreat feel when your subdivision can be practically seen from the retreat house. XD The coming days became like that, doing things of leisure and of duties.
For the shortest summer ever had, it sure's turning out to be one of the busiest.

A Little 2009 Summer Update

Yet again, today seems like the perfect timing to tell what's going on.
These past weeks, the family's been able to go back in playing tennis...

...plus, visiting our local swimming pool and even to Splash Island.

And just like last year's update, I'm off to bed early tonight. But not for the same reason of preparing for a flight. Well, I will do so for Palawan(!) but that's not until Saturday. You see, there's one big obstacle that will happen from Monday to Friday: Finals Week. Not to worry. Once that's out of the way, my real summer will begin.

Finally.
